{"id":1375,"date":"2018-04-09T07:48:29","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T08:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.autoturisticafaialense.com\/condicoes-de-aluguer\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T23:33:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T00:33:34","slug":"rental-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.autoturisticafaialense.com\/en\/rental-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Rental Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>We request that our Clients carefully read the conditions and terms found on the back of the Rental Agreements.<\/h3>\n<p>Prices and charges are subject to change without notice.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum rental period &#8211; 1 day (24 hours).<\/p>\n<p>Minimum age of driver &#8211; 23 years and 1 year of driving experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The prices include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unlimited mileage, VAT and insurance against third parties with limited civil liability.<\/p>\n<p>The customer is responsible for all damages caused to the rented vehicle, as well as the days of immobilization for repair.<\/p>\n<p>The prices do not include:<\/p>\n<p>Fuel, Franchises and other Extras, as well as Extra Insurance &#8211; CDW, SUPERCDW and PAI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INSURANCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CDW &#8211; The responsibility of the customer for the payment of damages caused in the rented car, by collision or rollover, can be reduced by the payment of compulsory franchise and provided there is no negligence or deliberate violation of the terms and conditions of rental.<\/p>\n<p>SUPERCDW &#8211; The responsibility of the customer for the payment of damages caused in the rented car, by collision or rollover, can be reduced by the payment of a minimum mandatory deductible of 80.00 \u20ac and provided there is no negligence or deliberate violation of the terms and conditions of hiring . Minimum age 35 years. This insurance is not available for the MINI VAN and SUV groups<\/p>\n<p>NOTE &#8211; CDW and SUPERCDW insurances do not cover damage to the rented vehicle, such as tire cuts, damage to the upholstery, body dents, broken parts, non-collision, lack of antenna and broken cover.<\/p>\n<p>FUEL: Full to Full &#8211; vehicles are delivered with full fuel tank and must be returned under the same conditions. If this does not happen, in addition to the value of the fuel, a Replenishment Fee of \u20ac 6.00 will be applied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXTRAS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additional Driver &#8211; 17,00 \u20ac (per rental and for each additional)<\/p>\n<p>Baby chair &#8211; \u20ac 8.00 per day (up to a maximum of \u20ac 30.00)<\/p>\n<p>Child Seat &#8211; \u20ac 4.00 per day (up to a maximum of \u20ac 15.00)<\/p>\n<p>Departure from the Island &#8211; Departures only to Pico and S\u00e3o Jorge, with written permission of the hirer. Rate of \u20ac 25.00 per island.<\/p>\n<p>Delivery and Collection after hours &#8211; Fee to be agreed 25\u20ac.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Documents and Deposits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mandatory presentation of valid driving license, Identity Card \/ Citizen Card \/ Valid Passport and Valid Credit Card.<\/p>\n<p>The estimated rental cost must be paid upon signing the Contract.<\/p>\n<p>If the driver haven\u2019t a credit card must buy an extra insurance.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;] We request that our Clients carefully read the conditions and terms found on the back of the Rental Agreements.
